O MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017 reuniu os famosos em Los Angeles, na noite desse domingo (7). O evento, apresentado por Adam DeVine, de Pitch Perfect, premiou produções do cinema, séries e TV. Os grandes vencedores da noite foram A Bela e a Fera em filme do ano (e Emma Watson na categoria de melhor atuação em filme), Stranger Things, que conquistou o prêmio de série do ano. Millie Bobby Brown fez um discurso super fofo após a vitória e até chorou.
Emma Watson subiu ao palco da premiação para receber o prêmio Melhor Atuação em Filme e aproveitou para discursar sobre a categoria que não tem distinção de gênero. "O primeiro prêmio de atuação que não separa os candidatos baseado no sexo deles diz algo sobre como encaramos a experiência humana.O movimento da MTV de criar um prêmio sem distinção de gênero para atuação vai significar algo diferente para cada pessoa. Mas, para mim, indica que atuar é a habilidade de colocar-se no lugar do outro, e isso não precisa ser separado em duas categorias", declarou a atriz. "A empatia e a habilidade de usar a sua imaginação não deveriam ter limites. Isso significa muito para mim", finalizou Emma.
